Assimilate me
Lie in my ear
Articulately
Tell me my fears

Philadelphia (1720 to 1840)

Racist ideas reach potential students
Seemed suprised but they already knew this
Pride and nationalism destroys each town
Exports and Imports can't be found
My children teach employment and I'm dependant
Clap hands in war but after.... your offended
Thoughts of home, you can never go back
especially when they tell you, " YOU CAN NEVER GO BACK"
From what you have taught, " God help me please
We're your sheep cause our tears grow trees"

Also to Sandy and past friends, you are all always in my thoughts.

I am on the edge of thought. No longer myself. Kin to chaos and an ally of nothing

An Ode to Boredom
Dawning on the twins
The Body always wins
Senses dulled an blurred
Imagination spins
Blacking out.......

....senses in attack
the way i've felt, the past
yet attention is still lacked
feeling strangely fine
until it all rewinds
noises melt away
blacking out.........
